Annecy 3 albums

As part of visiting Lyon over the summer, I had to return to Annecy. The last I had visited was the Carnaval Venitien two years before, and the large amount of Summer tourists was still less than the troves from the festival.

I returned to Annecy a little over a month after my first visit, for the Carnaval. It’s amazing how much the participants put into their costumes—thankfully, none minded photos.

After reaching the canals and then the lake, it became clear why some call Annecy the “Venice of the Alps”.
